I’m a Catholic husband, father of two, software engineer, pure Mathematics geek, hobbyist game developer, video and table top gamer, hiker, 4Runner owner, off-roader, nature lover, noob bassist and harmonica player. I’ve been an on-again, off-again blogger since around 2006. During many of the significant transitions in my life, or times when I found myself in periods of growth rather than just survival, I’ve turned to blogging as a way to process and understand the world around me.

Lex Orandi is the journal of my ongoing spiritual journey as a convert from Protestantism to the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church—the Catholic Church. The name Lex Orandi is drawn from the phrase "lex orandi, lex credendi" - the law of prayer is the law of belief. This reflects a central aspect of my spirituality: the understanding that all of life is liturgical, beginning in the Mass and flowing outward into the mundane aspects of life.
